A Wisconsin mother is accused of killing her 14-year-old daughter and later telling investigators she acted to protect the child from Elon Musk, according to authorities. Tyiece Oninski contacted the Rock County Communications Center on Friday, March 20, using a non-emergency line. During a call that lasted more than 13 minutes, she told dispatchers she had killed her daughter the previous night and had also attempted to take her own life.
According to officials, Oninski said she “murdered [her daughter] to protect her from somebody else,” later specifying that she believed she was protecting the girl from Elon Musk. She asked for both an ambulance and a hearse. When questioned about medical assistance for her daughter, she reportedly replied that the teenager was already dead and would need a hearse instead.
When law enforcement officers arrived at the residence, they found Oninski suffering from multiple injuries, including a deep cut to her neck, wounds on both wrists, and what appeared to be a stab wound to her cheek. Emergency responders provided aid at the scene. Officers then entered the home, where they discovered the victim, identified as 14-year-old Kuren Rein. Authorities said she had suffered multiple stab wounds. A knife and its sheath were recovered nearby as part of the investigation. The case remains under investigation as officials work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
